Oct 13^th 1934 – After New York bans all slot machines within the state, a court order is issued to destroy them. A barge laden with 1,155 confiscated machines departs New York City and dumps them into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of the Norwalk, Connecticut. (cpm)

This week’s winner goes to @jenniferviolynn for her ominous and they ethereal picture of Stratosphere. She managed to capture the entire property as well as some amazing clouds dominating the picture. You almost expect to see the tower get hit by lightening a few minutes, once those dark clouds finish rolling in. It’s another one of those pictures that is so good it almost looks fake.
