The infamous Lion’s Share Slot Machine at MGM, the slot that has been on their casino floor for close to a decade because Nevada laws state that the machine must pay out its top prize before it can be removed, will now be given to the person who eventually wins that progressive jackpot, currently listed at 2.3 million. This week’s winner is from @itsthejohnes for a really cool picture of the Golden Gate signage. Its unique, iconic signage. No other marquee in Vegas has moving letter tiles. The angle of the photo is nice too, looking from the ground up but taken under the Fremont Street Experience so you don’t see the sign with that as the backdrop. Instead, you get a nice blue sky with white clouds. One of the major things I don’t like about the Fremont Street Experience is it prevents you from seeing Fremont’s neon set against a night sky. While this is taken during the day, the concept is still the same. The photo also grabs part of the Plaza. I’ve always been a big fan of the buildings exterior. I’m happy they’ve rescued it from the dungeon it had become.
