In response to our story regarding MGM restricting broadcasting of the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight to only MGM properties, our snarky friend @MeltzVegas informed us that MGM fights haven’t been show in non-MGM casinos in over 5 years. Apparently in the past the properties had something of a gentleman’s agreement to not do so but the smart ass didn’t know how they are able to technically prohibit such things today.

Outside of the birth of some of my favorite people, the 70s sucked. Sure we landed on the moon and it brought us Frisbee sports, Pong and disco, the greatest music ever created. Okay, on 2nd thought it wasn’t that bad. Something else cool it brought us was the best Golden Nugget signage ever looked upon. Bathed in neon culminating in a 25 foot + erection projecting it’s superiority while simultaneously making it clear that you should watch where your boots step as their could be cow shit anywhere. Being across the street from the horseshoe probably projected a bit of that. Bask in its glory once again thanks to @Summacorp.
