It’s one of the best pictures I’ve ever seen of the property that only lasted a year before being absorbed by the Mint. The Birdcage, not the one made famous by Robin Williams and Nathan Lane, existed on the corner of Fremont and 1st, known today as Casino Center Blvd, from 1958 to 1959. The gem of this picture, shared by @NeonMuseum, is the marquee, a large bird cage with an oversized pair of dice inside.
